About Us

Before the doors to Escape Coalville opened, we had one very clear mission. To help support the regeneration of the town of Coalville and offer new employment opportunities for local people. Supporting and improving the community has always been at the heart of everything we do.

Since opening its doors in May 2020, Escape Coalville has specialised in providing thrilling and immersive escape room experiences for adventurers of all ages. Nestled in the centre of the town of Coalville, our escape rooms offer an unforgettable journey filled with mystery, puzzles, and teamwork.

Our award winning games spread over several location in the town with each game crafted to offer a varying degree of difficulty and a wide range of puzzles and themes. At Escape Coalville, we believe in the power of teamwork and collaboration. Whether you're a group of friends, family members, colleagues, or strangers brought together by a common quest, our escape rooms will put your communication, problem-solving, and lateral thinking skills to the test.

Having opened and now operating 6 different escape rooms, Escape Coalville branched out in April 2024 to bring a totally different type of entertainment to the town, Axe Throwing. At home in the Marlene Reid Centre, Axecape Coalville not only allows you to participate in a brand new sport but also the chance to improve your skills. To support our ethos of placing the community at the heart of what we do, we also offer our own axe throwing community. We offer club nights that will allow members to come together and enjoy an evening with like minded people in a social and competitive environment.
